Application

  • Wireless, battery operated, fully digital user programmable double-head injector for contrast agent and physiological saline solution (NaCl) in the field of magnetic resonance imaging

Injector concept

  • Microprocessor controlled double-head injector with electric drive and two independent injection units
  • Multiphase, program controlled injection of contrast agent and physiological saline solution (NaCI)
  • Aluminium housing
  • Motor, control and rechargeable batteries are integrated into a single compact unit
  • Touch-screen control panel with different languages
  • Additional keypad for manual piston movement, starting and stopping the injection
  • Syringe holder with Easy Loading Syringe (ELS) 200 ml
  • "Keep-Vein-Open" (KVO) feature
  • Automatic power saving mode
  • Non-stick syringe holder

Mechanical design

  • Swivelling injection units connected to a mobile support with a column stand
  • Operational angle of about 15° below the horizontal, tilt vertically upwards to vent the System
  • Total weight: 37 kg

Power supply

  • Operation is independent of the mains supply, thanks to high output rechargeable batteries with a capacity sufficient for several days' operation
  • Input voltage charger: 100-240 V, 50 - 60 Hz
  • Power consumption charger: < 100 VA

Memory capacity

  • 80 injection protocols can be defined and stored by the user

Filling of injection syringes

  • Automatic filling via menu with volume input or
    manual filling with variable speed
  • Filling speed:
    1 to 5 m l/s
  • Optimised tube systems with automatic valves
