Application
- Entirely digitalized dual injection apparatus for magnetic resonance tomography
Design
- Injection apparatus controlled by microprocessor with electric motor and two independent syringe injectors
- The motor, the control and the set of accumulators for the power supply to the apparatus are integrated into a single compact unit
- Injection with several programmed phases of the contrast liquid for the tomography and a physiological solution (NaCI)
- Possibiblity of simultaneous injection of contrast liquid and physiological solution by direct input of the concentration in the injection programme
- All the transfer is done with automatic valves, combined with the NaCI rinsing, thus ensuring an optimum use of the contrast agent
- Functioning with disposable syringes 200 ml or 130 ml and maximum pressure of 15 bar
- Console with keyboard and LCD screen
Mechanical structure
- Swivelling injection modules, connected to a mobile support with telescopic column
- In injection position at an angle of 15° below the horizontal; can be swivelled to 90° to remove air bubbles
- Total weight: 28 kg / 47 kg
Power supply
- Functions independently of the mains supply thanks to its two high-output accumulators with a capacity sufficient for several days of use
- Charging module with charging mode for mains supply tensions of 230 V, 50/60 Hz
Throughput of two injectors
- 9.9 ml/s
programmable in steps up to 0.1 ml/s
Maximum injections volume
- 130 ml (CM)
or 200 ml (NaCl)
Programmable partial volume
- 1 to 130 ml or 1 to 200 ml;
programmable with steps of 1 ml
Injection pressure
Programming the injection
- 40 programmes can be defined and saved by the user
Filling of the injection cylinders
- Automatic filling:
advance of piston at 1 ml/s, pull back at 5 ml/s or
- manually controlled filling at variable speed
Options
- Wireless remote control for all the functions of the apparatus.
(Keyboard and screen on remote control identical with that of the apparatus.)
- Further options on request.
