Our aim is to help where support is needed and play our part in creating a society that cares: we focus on long-term partnerships and initiatives whose work makes a lasting difference to people and families facing difficult circumstances.

With care and commitment
The Bärenherz children’s hospice
MEDTRON has been supporting the Bärenherz Foundation and its children’s hospices for several years.
The hospices support families with seriously ill children, providing them with nursing and psychosocial support as well as respite care. Some of the funds MEDTRON raises for Bärenherz come from its partner companies during the German Radiology Congress.
Herzkrankes Kind society for children with heart disease
In 2025, MEDTRON made its first contribution to Herzkrankes Kind. This society, which is based in Saarland, helps families of children with heart conditions, providing them with advice and a range of support services. We are pleased to contribute to this important work.
Addiction and youth services
Early support can help young people find a way forward. In 2025, MEDTRON began contributing to addiction and youth services that provide information and counselling in schools.
Diospi Suyana – medical care in Peru
In 2025, MEDTRON donated an Accutron® MRI contrast media injector, together with a service contract and consumables, to Diospi Suyana Hospital in Curahuasi, Peru. This will help ensure that MRI services can continue to operate at the hospital over the long term.
The Saarland Cancer Society
A diagnosis of cancer changes lives. The Saarland Cancer Society provides advice and support to people affected by cancer and their families. MEDTRON has been contributing to this important work for many years.
