08 Nov Wir unterstützen das Projekt Regenbogen

Am 8. November war Welttag für Kinder krebskranker Eltern. Zu diesem Anlass haben wir der Saarländischen Krebsgesellschaft eine Spende in Höhe von 500 €  zukommen lassen. Im Rahmen des Projekts Regenbogen bietet die Saarländische Krebsgesellschaft Beratung und professionelle Begleitung für Kinder und Jugendliche, deren Eltern oder Großeltern an einer Krebserkrankung leiden.

The Saarland Cancer Society has been advising and accompanying people with cancer and their relatives since 1958. In doing so, it offers individual consultations as well as courses and lectures. In addition to direct help for those affected, prevention and early detection of cancer are another focus of its work. Increasingly, the Saarland Cancer Society is also involved in research into cancer and new, effective therapies, innovative treatment approaches and drugs that specifically target tumors. It offers advanced training for specialist audiences and, since 2021, a research award endowed with €3,000 to support promising projects.
